PS Plus Freebie Showdown!: March 2019

Can you believe it's 2019 already? Can you believe it's March already? Maybe some of you can't even believe it's Tuesday already! But fear not my friends, for I have something for us all to believe in! Today's the day Sony gives us free goodies.
That's right folks! Take a gander at that calendar, because today is the day we get our free games of the month via PlayStation Plus. It's an objective fact that the majority of people buy a PlayStation Plus membership for the monthly free games and discounts.. I mean who even plays video games online anymore? *Scoff scoff*
Speaking of online games, the first contender attempting to steal your “free games of March 2019” heart is Modern Warfare Remastered! Rub this one into the faces of everyone who purchased COD: Infinite Warfare just for this gem, haha, suckers! I'm just kidding of course, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a graphical re-imagining of, arguably, the most famous Call of Duty title. It's often given credited for revolutionizing online multiplayer alongside classics like Halo: Combat Evolved. I'm looking forward to getting my butt positively handed to me in numerous multiplayer matches very soon.
On the other side of the ring is The Witness. Oooooo, what a mysteriously serious sounding title indeed. This one is practically opposite to Modern Warfare Remastered. The Witness is an open-world puzzle game with an underlying story to decipher, secrets to uncover, and beautifully crisp and colorful environments to enjoy. The Witness was released all the way back in 2016 and received immensely positive praise. This puzzler looks promising.
There you have it! Two free PlayStation Plus games of the month duke it out with one another, but which will be crowded the favorite? I think Modern Warfare Remastered, for having the “Call of Duty” name alone, but let's not count out the unique brain workout that is The Witness! All in all, March of 2019 looks to be an entertaining month for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
